Grimsby is a very handsome, frisky and vocal 8 month old Siamese mix kitten! This confident, social kitty will need an experienced cat family with kids over age 12, as he does bite when he becomes over-stimulated. Grimsby can live with another cat, or a dog, depending on their personality (playful is a must!). He will need plenty of daily, interactive play-time with his new family to release his energy in constructive ways.

We believe that Grimsby was the victim of a hit-and-run; he was rescued with a fractured pelvis. The pelvic fracture healed incorrectly, which has led to an abnormally narrow pelvic canal. This causes Grimsby some difficulty with defecation. Therefore, he needs to be on a special, low residue diet for life, with Miralax (a stool softener) mixed in with his food. The diet promotes a smaller quantity of stool and Miralax helps to soften the stool to enable it to pass more easily. Please inquire with the Manhattan Adoption Center for more info about adopting this adorable and highly unique little cat!!
