In August of 2010, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin made Anna's dream to meet the Green Bay Packers and their star quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, come true. Her wish experience was featured on ESPN as a part of their "My Wish" series, and was seen by millions of viewers on "Monday Night Football."

Anna is a 12-year-old from Horicon Wisconsin who faced a life-threatening heart condition that cause a stroke and brain hemorrhage. After a successful heart transplant surgery, Anna still needed to relearn how to walk and talk. Her love of the Packers helped her through the difficult rehabilitation process, and she dreamt of someday going to Lambeau Field to see the team in action.

Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work.

Founded in 1984, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin is part of the largest wish-granting charity in the world, with 65 chapters in the United States and its territories and 27 international affiliates spanning five continents. The chapter has granted more than 4,000 wishes since its inception!

  • Is this the same girl that Brett Favre teared up about at a press conference? If so, shes one lucky person.

  • @FoxRacer23TW. Thanks for visiting our YouTube page. This is actually a different girl. They both are named Anna, but different girls and different wishes. Best wishes to you.

  • I got a lump in my throat and my eyes watered up when I saw the ESPN piece on this brave young lady. I'm so happy Green Bay won the Super Bowl this year. I'm a Colts fan but Green Bay is a class act--top to bottom. What a great inspiration!

  • Glad her dreams came true. Aaron rodgers is a class act.

  • @foofightersfan94 We don't know specifically about any Colts wishes, but the NFL is really great about helping make wishes come true, so it wouldn't surprise us if they have.
