Sad but true.
Ed Coan is a sorry state of affairs for the sport of powerlifting.
Everyone says Coan cheated in the drugfree to get away from the big boys.
That said, Coan was one of the top 20 best drugged lifters of the past.
It's remarkable the new guys that are so strong now.
You can never accurately compare past to present, but of the past Coan was great.
Too bad Coan was barred from ever becoming an international hall of famer because of his doping that cost him dearly.

That's because he was overloaded on too much steroids and crap. He never knew to back off the juice but he still couldn't beat the best in the WPC that's why he ran and hid in the drug tested where he failed and failed til he got kicked out. the guy is creepy.

Ed Coan was in Florida for the WPC Worlds touching guys. The dude gives me the creeps. You can tell he's a prick if there ever was one. Too bad he couldn't ever pass a drug test. Ed coan could've got 3rd or 4th at best in non drug tested where he belonged. That's why he never lifted against other guys that juiced. Ed Coan is a fucking hypocrite.

True, my bad. Many are. that's what makes anyone who is in strength events, much less sports, and is exceptional at it/them a bad name. I just do not like roids. I believe you should train your ass off and go thru the many ups and downs to achieve and persavere in sports.
