I don't think you are discerning Biblically. I think that if you want to condemn teachings, use scripture only, and not straw man spin doctoring.

I do agree with the idea of a covenant community which is exactly what the Church is, a covenant communit. It does not necessarily mean that the Church has to be nomadic in order to be covenantal. Did not the Apostles stay in the "household" of Lydia in the city of Thyatira (Acts 16:14-15)? There is something unique here regarding the collective though, and the music is captivating...but what's with all the face paint?
