man it took me a full year to build a hand for a robot from scrap using wiperblades and building a whole body will take me whole life o__o

@OldSocksVideos By starting simple, with some easy projects. Lego has Mindstorms, Parallax has a BOEbot, and there are projects involving the Arduino that can be a starting point. There are lots of online posts and documentation on how to use these kits, and communities online like LetsMakeRobots. Robotics involves electronics, mechanics, and programming, so reading about and trying different projects in those areas would help.

@SuperHobo1234567 Something that is very difficult to do, is to make robots that move in ways that humans do. This robot is a study in both the construction of and programming for movement of a human shaped robot, to make it get up from laying down, in a manner like a human can.
