There's strong evidence that Tookie was set up. First of all, the corruption of the LAPD is known & there are several well-documented incidences of them planting evidence and framing innocent people, so it's not far-fetched. Physical evidence is lacking. His informants had "incentives to lie in order to obtain leniency from the state" (9th Circuit Court of Appeals). One of them was later convicted for a very similar crime to the one Tookie was murdered for. Read Verna Wefald's 88-page appeal

Not 30 years. It's already a couple of years ago that a group of people (most of them are Caucasians) studied the case again and found out that Tookie was set up.

Justice can still be served if he's given parole because the evidences are strong that Tookie didn't commit those crimes & the only reason why he was jailed because of biased judging (No offense to my white brothers, but the judges are white racists, according to Tookie's life story.)

It's okay if his prison sentence was changed to life imprisonment, but the white people at those time were still fresh from racial discrimination.

No offense to my fellow whites, but this is truth.

@agentslapshocker thats besides the point, whether or not you forgive him is irrelevant. he killed 4 people and justice had to be served. in fact he's pretty lucky he's living in the US where he got a painless lethal injection. had he been living elsewhere they might have put shotgun bullets into him at close range like he did to those 4 hardworking asian people
