what a stupid comment. chicago totally sucked until they got ron nevison. stevie nicks and heart did their best work in the 1980s. real rock with real power unlike the blues-grunge-americana mulatto sound that pollutes all rock now.

this was my favorite line up too..drama rock.
more important was having ron nevison produce heart because 1990's brigade was a crummy recording. even rupert hine could have produced a good heart album but scott ziot or whoever produced bridade sucked to the max.

Heart are the quintessential example of a band that was great in the 70's and then got sucked into 80's crapola. So sad. (Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, etc.) Very few musicians were able to avoid the prevailing winds of that wretched decade.

@TheOldeoak really how cool !

The record companies often tried to hide Ann's weight with big fat suits and big hair (by her own admission in an interview)

Everytime Ann Wilson sings it gives me goose bumps, just love her voice, best two talented ladies around in a rock band to date. Nancy guitar playing with the rest of the talented band is a fantastic balance, they are appropriately named (Heart)

have seen the band on many occasions and spoken to ann & nancy on these tours and they are a great people.
on the bad animals and brigade tours i met the full line up and spoke to all of the band and am a devoted fan.
howard was an early recruit to the band in vancouver as a keyboard player and i think a producer?,up until recent years he was a part owner of the name HEART i believe,but someone might be able to confirm that.
he formed his own band and called it BRIGADE i believe.

Heart is freaking amazing. I first heard them when they preformed on a country music awards shiow (Strangely enough) and I've loved them ever since.

I saw the in concert in 1985 in El Paso. So close to the stage. And I was in love with Ann.
And Nancy rocks the stage.
Great memories
Man! At the end of this particular song "What About Love" she sang the shit out of it!! Ann's voice is not only AMAZING but that part at the end is so intense, sometimes it brings me to tears because you can just feel the emotion in her voice as she delivers those final notes of the song. It seems to me that she may have begun going through a rough time in her life with the sudden weight gain & with that, the need to feel loved, desired, & wanted was what she seemed to be expressing at the end..
