All religions based on humanity are inspired by Buddhism, Buddhism was the first ever to adress the caste system issue. Already 2500 years ago BUddhism laid the foundation of Liberty,equality and brotherhood on which Europe took inspiration and became what it is today. All religions somehow do get inspiration from an older, like monethism was from Zoroastrianism which inspired judaism and islam later.

@JHEEEEEEEEZ If you're a Sikh, then you really need to come to terms with your own religion. I'm an atheist and even I know that Sikhism didn't come from Hinduism. Sikhism was created because the Sikh Guru's realised the injustice that many humans faced when it came to Hinduism, due to the caste system. So no, Sikhism didn't "come from" Hinduism, it was born through trials and tribulations faced by many people, which a select few people came to realise.

Arguing about this now will not do any good, it will make it worse. The best thing we can do is remember those who died in 84 and pay our respects, not just to the families who lost lives in 84, but also to the families of people who have lost lives in religious and international conflicts which had no reason to have taken place.
