*On Monday At School*
Mariah's POV
Right now, I was in the 'Fml' attitude. My mom was extremely pissed when she found out those stupid ass twins locked me out the house. But instead of getting mad at them, she got mad at me, and said I should have never tried to take them outside. She was just like "My babies aren't safe in the house alone!" Like I give a fuck. At the moment, I wouldn't care if someone snatched them. They made a huge mess, and I had to clean it. Oh and my mom took my computer and took my TV, and now I have nothing. She's got my iPod too. And I don't have my phone. I'm gonna see if I can get Shaq to give me that money, for my phone. My life right now is miserable. I was just walking to my locker and Mel popped up smiling.
"Hey!" she cheered.
I gave her a nonchalant "Hey."
"Aw, ¿Lo que esta` mal?" she asked and rubbed my shoulder.
"Mel, you know I'm not hispanic, I'm not great with that Spanish stuff."
"Um, your dad has some Puerto Rican in him. You should know some Spanish. But I just asked you what's wrong."
"Oh, in that case, my life is fucked for about the next week. I can't do anything.." I stopped talking when Justin and his crew were walking by. Why did they always walk like that?
"Mel, can you ask Shaq for my money? I could really use it."
"Uh-huh, but you're gonna ask him." she said and grabbed my arm. "Shaq." she said and practically threw me in front her. "Mariah wants to ask you a question."
I stood there for a second, because I was scared.
"Um, you gon ask me something or not?" Shaq asked scratching his head.
"Ah, mueve su miedo." Mel said to me. I wish she would stop talking in Spanish. I do not understand her! "Shaq, you got Mariah's money for her phone? She needs it."
"Oh yeah, well I got half." he said and took out his wallet and put some money in Mel's hand. "I'll give you the rest tomorrow."
"Thank you." she said when she took it. Then she looked at the rest of the boys. "What are you guys looking at?"
"You know you a sexy lil Hispanic." Khalil said while grabbing her waist and laughing.
"¡Tener en tus manos de encima!" she yelled.
They all looked at each other not knowing what she said, then she pushed Khalil.
"¡ No me toques!" she yelled.
I wish she'd speak English.
"Um, Melanie, we can't understand you." Justin said twirling a curl in his head.
She looked at him and rolled her eyes. "I'm telling your estupido amigo, to get his hands off of me." she looked at Khalil with a disgusted face, grabbed my arm and we walked away.
Khalil's POV
"That wast very nice. She went off on me in Spanish." I made a sad face. Then me and the guys all bust out laughing. That girl was something.
"Mariah sure would be lost without her." Twist said.
"Uh-huh." Shaq said nodding.
