This used to be up, and I'm not sure what happened to it. So here it is. A wonderful video from the 90's. From the album "The It Girl".

yeah yeah the 90s were great - apart from the fact that they were shit - all the brit pop bands and a lot of other groups were great but the 90s was still a shit time to be english and all the good music in the world couldn't change that.. 20 years go by and everyone thinks it was much better back then .. it wasn't it was as shit then as it is now .. in 2032 you wankers will all be saying how great it was in 2012 quit with the fuckin rose tints

Yeah, was a complete babe. Still is. I have a massive thing for Cerys Matthews and Shirley Manson as well. Them girls look like they'd screw the life out of you and then throw you out the window when they had done.

the original diva , i would happily give a kidney to of seen her - ( with strop or without ) the only other female artist from that time that i fancied as much as Lou was the singer from the Sundays - harriet wheeler - ..that's brilliant about the shaking knee , i think my whole body would of gone into convulsions.

It was at university of Derby, I didn't go to see them, but i know the person who booked them and intervewed her. Apparently she was stunning in the flesh he said his knee wouldn't stop shaking!
Although she had a bit of a strop over the stage, stop singing and said 'sort this f**king stage out'. apparently it was bouncing or something.
This was a few months before they hit the big time.
I regret a lot of things in life, oppurtnaty to see them before they where famous is one of them.

i was never too keen on the name brit pop but it's a term that stuck, i always preferred to think of the bands you mentioned as indie. what uni were you at to see sleeper.

Out of the 70's, 80's 90's, 2000's, the best time in every way was 94 - 97.
And there was no such thing as 'brit pop bands', there were indie bands that becasue big at the same time, the press use the tag 'brit pop' to describe them. Sleeper played at my uni in late 94 early 95, blur, pulp, oasis where already going, long before 'brit pop' term ever rasied it's ugly little head.
