'Decentralising' meaning giving local authorities more say in how the budget is spent at a regional level, and using the private sector for management etc. But guess what? Still free at the point of entry, still 19 places above the US in the WHO HC world rankings... and was recently placed 3rd out of 7 countries on 'quality care' by the Commonwealth Fund... whereas the US came in at 6th.

I just fell out of my chair laughing - yesterday the NY Times reported the U.K is moving away from socialist health care and decentralizing much of the process. Looks like Obama only stands with Cuba, China and Venezuela with his health care plan.
