  • The playing starts at 2:28

  • @Will137 yeah sorry it was early days of my videos on youtube, this video is crap I wouldn't mind doing it again properly, if I could dig one of these pedals up.

  • Really mate showing it on an overdrive channel would be most impressive .... you would go from light od to heavy od into a tube od just with volume boost and would get compression too.

Also you used your vid cam mic yeah? Bad eq for comparisons plus you let the input overload when you got louder.

  • @AlienSexDog I don't have this pedal anymore but you are right. It was the best I could do at the time. My newer pedal demos are much cooler! :) It was just a camera mic

  • question: what happens to the 60 cycle hum if im using a single coil? will the hum get louder when i crank this pedal up?

  • Hi,

It's a volume boost so if you have that problem it might do that yes. Try noiseless pickups man, I've never missed that buzz since :)

  • Man I love this pedal, I got it the other day, hooked up to my George Lynch Gl-600mt Tiger LTD->seymour duncan pickup booster-->hughes & kettner tube factor overdrive pedal-->hughes & kettner mk 2 triamp.

Really fuckin' sweet pedal because it doesn't color your tone at all, all it does is it boosts the volume of your guitar. So it's easier to get those harmonics out at lower volumes.

And it's only $100 on ebay but ya gotta add in another $15 bucks for a dc adapter cuz it doesn't come with one.

  • @kuringmundo the hum would be louder, but i dont recommend the noiseless pickups, to me they sound dead. i'd just get a hood noise gate and it would help out a lot

  • @khiane00 alright alright chill, but yeah if your looking for NU metal this is the type of pedal u wanna get if ur not gonna use seymours as pick ups or having standard shit stock ones from epi or sqiuer.

  • @jameschoi999 didn't at all mean to be defensive so my apologies. Im also merely researching on here to see if anything on here that i dont know about that can improve the sound of my guitars.

  • @khiane00 not everyone wants a low range of tonality...but its fucking good....i wanna get a pair for my bc rich :P

  • @khiane00 dude chill! all i said was you dont know much about guitars and i explained it that its for SINGLE COIL PICK UPS... just chill im assuming ur in a bad mood

  • @jameschoi999 well I sincerely apologize for my existence on this earth cause of my lack of knowledge of guitars and questions that are deemed stupid. I should never assume that musicians are willing to share their knowledge and info. on youtube. which is one of the things that I thought was great about musicians is that they're always willing and open to sharing their knowledge and passion of music to others. No matter how stupid the question. Guess every once in a while u run into an asshole.

  • @khiane00 ...its probably meant for single coil pick ups....seems you dont know much about guitars
