Guadalajara March Against the SPP and NAFTA Part 2

On August 9, 2009, over 1,000 people marched through downtown Guadalajara to protest the expansion of NAFTA through the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, and to demand an immediate renegotiation with full public participation in Mexico, Canada and the United States. The march and subsequent public forum were co-organized by Red Mexicana de Acción Frente al Libre Comercio (RMALC). Following the public forum, groups met again downtown for a closing rally where the alternative tri-national declaration was read to the crowd before "Harper", "Obama", and "Calderon" closed things down.
