This is 2 years late but I would check for an exhaust leak first. For a camshaft bearing to be so loose that it raddles is one messed up bearing. In other words, its not very likely the cause. Id say exhaust leak or play in the rockers due to lack of adjusment.

remove the pepsi cola can inside the engine and i'm sure is going to sound better!

hay mate did u solved the issue,,? it may be due to a faulty exhaust gasket,, and the silencer may be rattling with the port in the head,,

Valve tick, timing chain slap, bad oil pump? Maybe thats what i would look into, but mostly timing chain i think

Are you sure it's getting oil to the head? might be running with a blocked oilway and burning the cam bearing out?

I took the valve cover off and there was oil in there. The exhaust lobe on the cam was worn down badly. Today I changed cam and rocker assembly and It still makes the same sound. I even tried gap at .003. What do you think?
