THE DANUM HOTEL EXECUTIVE SINGLE ROOM IN DONCASTER TOWN CENTRE.

A rather small with a poor view room at this 3 star hotel, the staff were very friendly, the full English breakfast was not buffet service so you got one of each item on offer, i was woken up by the damn flying rats (pigeons) very early they must nest near room number 323.

The last time I brought a plate of Fish and Chips in New Zealand I paid12.00 NZD and thats with a drink of Coke, now you work it out it is an average of 3 NZD to 1 GBP

@19bootsy68 Interesting. This is good to know. Too bad. It makes it like an American city, then! I've never been to Birmingham, but if I ever go, now I'll know to stay in the hotel at night.

@homer3152 Thank you Homer, you should do hotel videos as well..sfflyer asked me to get some of the town on and i know he like his food as you do ;) so i thought fish, chips and mushy peas, yes that was me trying to speak posh.. but, i think my style of video reviews i do i should just keep doing Lazy,Plain and Simple....but i have put effort in one video that i will be posting on the 30th ;)

@19bootsy68 Excellent, Mark. I love eating fried foods (who doesn't?), but I just can't because it's not very healthy. But once in a while, it's a great treat. Safety in European cities is key. I've always felt very safe in Europe. But sounds like there are parts of the UK that may not be so safe.

Wonderful trip report..great idea to also show a bit of this charming little town, life in England and ..hm..the famous fish and chips:) Reminds me that I always wanted myself to do a hotel video:) And: if this was your voice, you definitely should talk more on your videos:)))

@sfflyer123 Thanks...sometimes we get used to the better standards of hotels like the last two i was in..the fish was very nice as the batter was ok i enjoyed it and yes the batter was not heavy...so no rush to the toilet (bathroom) for me..i like Doncaster the people are friendly and the police are always out in force..unlike where i live all you got to do is look at someone the wrong way and you've got to defend yourself.
