yes, i agree with on3sayjon, you should at least spraypaint the airsoft guns. at least you cannot see it [the orange ring inside the barrel] on the HKMP5 airsoft, but you can with both 29-cal. magnum airsoft handguns. heck, to make it look the most real, you should've bought some real magnums / used HKMP%, and have REALLY used them - but with blanks, we don't REALLY need to be pressing murder charges, now do we???

Heh. Yeah, we've actually upgraded to real guns in the actual episodes. In the Teasers we were still using airsoft. And we've already modified the airsofts we have to look real too.

@REResidentialFiles what about blanks, to make it as realistic as possible, while still mantaining saftey???

@arctrooperrex Blanks will not work. They are used more for live theatrical shows. Or sometimes in Hollywood (for slow motion, close-ups, recoil, push-back, and shells popping out), but NOT in everyday filming. In actually, the sound a gun makes (including one that shoots blanks) can NOT be recorded with normal microphones. They require special mics that costs thousands of dollars (which we don't have - or will ever get). Unless you want to donate that money. We are poor college students heh.

Also, a blank gun does not shoot out a muzzle flare, so one would have to be added in post production anyways. So what's the point. And guns that shoot blanks are about $250 to $400 on average (and the shells are way more expensive than real bullets even!) - at that price, we might as well go buy the real thing, lol.
