  • basically i moved from PS to Fireworks as my hub for webdesigning before i proceed to coding stages but my question is if i will work this on separate file could i import this on actual layers thanks hope you response to my query...

  • @scantojack09 Hi, I am not totally sure what you are asking. Are you asking if a Photoshop file can be imported into Fireworks with the seperate layers remaining seperate?

  • Excellent video - how do I put something similar in to my website. I am using dreamweaver CS4. Is this possible.

  • @MichaelConno Once you have the album finished just export it from Fireworks to Dreamweaver. We have a video on how to do that. YouTube does not allow link posting so just go into our videos and search for Fireworks Export to Dreamweaver.

  • Hi there! Just a quick question for you... You're probably gonna think I am an idiot but where is the add frame option? I haven't used fireworks in a long time, and I have just downloaded CS5 so I'm totally out of the fireworks loop haga!

  • @PuffTheMagicEmoEgg I think frames are called "states" in CS5.

  • @TonyasDynamicDesigns Hi Tonya, thanks for your comments. Glad the videos are good, I hope the next round of videos will be even better. As far as your question goes size really doesn't matter. Just be sure that if you change sizes you use the scale tool to avoid damaging the image. The reason I made them all the same size is to make the application more uniform and neat. You can use all different sizes if you like.

  • Hi Joe, I love your videos! You are 1 of the best teachers that I have ever seen on YouTube! I am currently re-doing my website in pure CSS based on your CSS videos. I have to learn Dreamweaver soon because I am in college and we will be learning about it in the next few months.

My question to you is this: On this video, can my photos be different sizes before I resize them as the enlarged images and thumbnail images or do my images need to be the same exact size to begin with? Thanks!
