What? Show this to abebe bikila. Haile did not win his races with the aid of Addidas. He did it by running barefoot as a kid to school on rocky ground. Addidas is just cashing in on it. (so is Haile which is fantastic cause he gives back to the community). Modern day accessories and way of thinking makes man weak, uncreative. Beware and resist where possible.

Have to admit I do love my Adidas Sequence 4's. I get about 3 months out of shoes and they're the first ones I've repeat purchased.

The man is a LEGEND. I met him once in London and I was really taken by his humility. He came over where we were and with no attitude or ignorant, said hi to us and smiled all thru as he spoke. He is one of a kind. Am saying this as a Kenyan.

@bikila489 abebe bikila grew up with no shoes so he was more comfortable going shoeless. Haile grew up without shoes too but once he found success with his adidas shoes he wasn't going back to running shoeless like he did as a child. i'm pretty sure 9 out of 10 running greats would pick shoes over no shoes, bikila obviously is the 1 who wouldn't

It doesnt matter if you use 1 million dollar shoe or if you run barefoot when you are good you are good a shoe doesnt make no different remember abebe bikila

yes Haile is amazing.... but WTF this is a damn shoe commercial. I want to get advice from the most amazing distance runner in the world, not talk about how amazing shoes are.
