Kennywood Olde Kennywood Railroad full ride September 12 2009

PLEASE READ: When we came here for the first time this year on July 4th, and I saw that they had completely changed the Olde Kennywood Railroad train ride, which included taking out all the old scenes of the steel workers, teachers, and that big dude who bent the things for the Steel Phantom and etc, I was pissed. Pissed like you could never imagine. We went to Kennywood again yesterday (September 12) for my dad's work's picnic, and now, I'm kinda ok with it and I think that the new train is pretty cool, although I will never fully forgive them for totally rennovating it the way they did.
Yeah, the old things and stuff needed to be repainted, but not completely taken out. The train was a classic, practically the icon of Kennywood and its history, so they really had no right to change it, and it's the same thing with the Old Mill. Still, it was fun and it still does give a good bit of Kennywood history in a fun way. I do like the way they have old photos and advertisments for old events there and how they go by the decades in talking about the history.
Who else that's been to Kennywood before agrees with me that Kennywood shouldn't be taking out/drastically changing classic rides like the Old Mill, Olde Kennywood Railroad, Gold Rusher, etc?! Please let me know what you think! :)
Kennywood will always be my favorite park ever, but that does not mean I will agree with everything they do.
