President Obama's plan for the next four years makes education and training a national priority; builds on our manufacturing boom; boosts American-made energy; reduces the deficits responsibly by cutting where we can, asks the wealthy to pay a little more, and puts an end to the war in Afghanistan—so we can do some nation-building here at home.

I just don't understand how lowering taxes creates jobs. You are taxed on profits and corporate profits are at record levels. You hire people based on demand. A little extra money in the coffers doesn't mean you will waste it on hiring if the demand isn't there. Why pay your workers more if there is no worry that they will quit? Why invest in new equipment if it is going to sit idle? Demand is what drives the economy and money in the hands of people who spend it will drive demand.
