Keith reports on John McCain speaking today on the nation's economic crisis and his startling lack of solutions to our problems, and instead offering more of the same with Republican solutions to everything which is of course less regulation, and his admission that he doesn't really know that much about economics. Also things in Iraq aren't going quite as well as McCain would like to make them out to be. Rachel Maddow weighs in.

  • Holy Hell!! If only McCain could drag Nancy Reagan around with him on the campaign then maybe he wouldn't seem so old. Of course if that happened it would look like all the old people of the old folks home escaped cause the person at the front desk fell asleep.

I can only hope that McCain pulls a Bob Dole by falling asleep on stage (or clumbsily falling off of one) and/or calling the Los Angeles Lakers the Minneapolis Lakers and then everyone under 65 would stop relating to him.

  • McInsane is a Bush Joke! The reason he was a prisoner of war is because he is an idiot! and wants to go back to this world.....

  • Deregulation is the best way to promote growth

  • McCain knowledge about economy:

-"already...tight household budgets...er...are getting tighter... WOW!

How can anyone want john "bomb iran" mccain to be the president?

Unconscious collective suicidal tendency in US population that supports him?

  • Two weeks ago, the FED added ANOTHER $200 billion to the system, letting flagging financial companies literally trade crap for treasuries.

Then, the chairman of the SEC, Chris Cox, told reporters that Bear Stearns was just fine. Chris Cox, the head regulator, was acting as a lawyer for a company the SEC regulated.

The CEO of Bear Stearns, in an interview, stated liquidity was fine.

Then Bear Stearns crashed, wiping out billions in shareholder value.

  • He can't give suggestions on the economy, neither can any of the mainstream candidates because if they did it would contradict everything they stand for.

    - Ending the multi-trillion dollar war

    - Abolish the Fed ( They manipulate the dollar which in turn manipulates the markets and causes mal-investment to most going broke.

Obama, Clinton & McCain are all part of the CFR so they have a vested interest in being in Iraq and continuing the presence. Don't be fooled. Nothing will change in 09.
