I love this poem. And I love his voice. I could feel the sadness and anger, as if he had really lost his Annabel. This is a pretty popular poem for musicians, it seems. ALESANA's album, The Emptiness is based off of this poem, with some embellishments. I shook listening to this. It's that awesome.

this was beautifully executed <3

my girlfriend nicknamed me Annabell Lee from this :3

@Jrydzik yeah, just got that a while ago. it was an issue of interpretation!

@rikoxasora The here, hear albums are simply collections of poetry set to music. It's a form of spoken word. Three is based off of the poem Annabel Lee by Edgar Alan Poe. Though the poem may have inspired part of the story in Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair, here, hear isn't a prequel or anything like that. :)

Why is there like a minute of silence at the end?
Great song though.
-
the "here hear" album pretty much sets up the "Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega" right?

I really couldn't give a damn about this garbage. Post some lyrics, I'm not going to waste my time looking for something as infinitely douchey as this.

@pwnpower We are not clean, we are not pure, we can not rest until we’re sure. So, rob your pretty little eyes of sleep’s disguise. I’m at your bedside with a bucket full of lies. So, clear your ears and listen. But I know what is.” And to the glorious past: You’ve opened my window but broken the glass. And I beseech thee, ‘shed thy beauty.’ For as a child leaves the womb and learns the cold, you have taught us perils in the present, and you will bring us peril in our surely-soon-to-be.
