周坤玲與馮應湘共舞 (1952)

《月媚花嬌》的終幕，周坤玲與馮應湘在夜總會翩翩起舞，另一對是芳艷芬與疑似張活游的郭引。慣演淑女賢妻的周坤玲，意外地與花花公子馮應湘合拍，配上樂隊演奏的曼妙音樂，­最後大團圓喜劇收場，果真是令人心花怒放的一夜。

This is the last scene of "Charming Night", in which Patricia Joe (aka Chow Kwun-ling) and Fung Ying-seong, Fong Yim-fun and Kwok Yan dance merrily in the nightclub, accompanied by a piece of beautiful music - a truly charming night of the year 1952.

馮應湘當年的死是很不幸的事, 事緣他入醫院割盲腸, 割盲腸當年來說風險也不大, 就是因為風不大, 而手術後康復進展良好.

不過那時的醫藥沒現在的先進, 所以手術後, 傷口復元需要比較長的時間. 因此馮應湘便得在醫院多住一段時間.

而馮本人又好玩健身, 又花花公子型, 滿身都是嗜好, 又好美食.

所以在住院康復期醫院限制其食物, 要他吃得清淡, 馮自覺身體狀況不錯, 所以沒有把醫生的話放在心上.

馮在女友人探望期間請求女友人買來燒鵝等美食. 在醫院偷吃.

就是因為吃得太肥膩, 又多吃了, 做自盲腸手術傷口處縫針爆裂, 傷口感染而死.

真可惜.

Thanks for telling us both 周坤玲 & 馮應湘 were born in US. This is the 1st time I heard about it.

I dont know if its related to the place of his birth, I always felt 馮應湘s outlook, façade and demeanour were quite different with most of other Chinese male actors at that time. Hes more westernized in nature.

Even he always acted as the villain, he had the power drew women towards him. 黃錦燊 possessed such similar attractiveness when he first joint the show biz in HK.
