We know you. If someone tossed you the keys to a spanking-new 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI for the weekend, you'd make a beeline for the nearest winding road leading into the mountains. So would we.
@Rtype1000 also, 95 as standard octane for a regular, non-performance car is just silly and a waste. Unless Europe has different octane standards, which they might, what with the RON and all.
@PantstofryPWNZ Price difference is minimal, about 1% . It does make sense to use 100 octane in Impreza STI. I know that, i have one. It is true that is older Hawkeye model, but 100 octane make sense in high power turbo engine. Let alone compared to 91.
@PantstofryPWNZ Gas price has nothing to do with this. In Europe is everything a lot more expensive then in USA. So the fuel prices are in line with everything else.
@Aaron509213 Depending on the Dealer, I think around $3,000

@Rtype1000 Sure, but it isn't necessary. 91 will work. I have 93 where I live.

@Rtype1000 There is a price difference by octane level. It makes no sense to use 100 octane

@PantstofryPWNZ True but by a small margin. In my country 95 octane is 1.320 € , 100 octane is 1.333€ .
It is not much diference price. The bigest part of fuel prices are taxes. You in USA have much lower taxes then we have in EU.
And there is price difference in fuel. Not by octane level.

@Rtype1000 yeah, things are more expensive. But higher octane gas is generally more expensive as well.
