They say that in all things there is a rhythm and I have found this to be true. Why else would Dark Side of the Moon mesh so nicely with The Wizard of Oz?
Case in point: We sent the Overture from The Rite of Sol out for mastering, and when we got it back I wanted to share it on the youtube channel, but I had no video footage. So I went looking for stock footage that was fair to use and discovered these films by Thomas Edison shot in or around 1907. I did very little editing, and just dropped them in with the music. It looks like we scored a silent film, and it is actually quite moving. I think if I ever want to create a portfolio of film scores this will be the route I'd take.
But I digress... The point here, is that what we now have is the score to a musical inspired by the writings of Aleister Crowley combined with the poetry of Algernon Charles Swinburne and film footage shot and edited by the studios of Thomas Edison.
So, that is pretty awesome.
Let us know how you like the mix, and enjoy the show!

@themuseinwillits - Yes we did, thank you! It is the overture and opening musical number for a rock opera we will be presenting next year. We've been working on the sound track and wanted to share the progress with our friends.
I am so pleased that you enjoyed it :)
