@VredesStal Esophogus, because the victim would have died pretty quickly with a large object/creature jammed into the lungs. ; )
I'd love to see an other modern big budget animatronic horror movie with a decent storyline... CGI looks nice and all, but it still hasn't come up to the point it can fully replicate the look and feel of actual physical props, not to mention that it often shows that the actors aren't fully able to place themselfs in everything that's happening around them with CGI.

@10072018 It was suppose to speak in Ripley's voice and say something about ready to come back to earth, kinda thing. The whole ominous ending type deal. It was on the making of Alien, from that pack that came out with all the Alien movies. Although I only wanted the first two movies, because frankly the others are AWFUL, someone got me them all. Anyhow I'm sure it can be looked up on the internet some where.

@10072018 the second was a colony with a queen, so personally i think it makes sense. I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm agreeing with you. I just think the movie makers got lucky enough things went this way. Originally in the first movie the Alien was suppose to kill Ripely at the end and actually speak. They got axed by Fox and I think that was a good thing, the original idea for the ending was pretty lame. My opinion of course.

@MrCaine I don't agree with tha statement. In Aliens the creatures show complex problem solving skills, such as cutting the power, infiltrating the medlab, and other coordinated attacks such as ambushing the marines in the hive. In Alien the creature did little more than stalk the crew and attack them when they were separated from the group as any predatory animal would.

Alien reigns supreme over Aliens. Don't get me wrong, Aliens is a good movie but the aliens are dumbed down as unintelligent insects. Whereas in the first movie, it was a intelligent, sadistic monster.
