I love how people believe hollywood movies are a good source for information on the Persian empire and battles they fought. So sad.

At that time persians where not muslim but I think the Celt would win. Taller bigger race, Persians where more advanced and came in great numbers. One on one the Celt would win.

This is bullcrap! Persians were good at two things archery and horsemanship, infantry was the worst ever seen.

Also the Persian used the Celt weapon so that still counts as a victory for the Celt, once again due to this show being based off of weapons and not the physical stature and limits of the warriors... (besides the Persian warriors had little to no upper body strength compared to most other warriors... That said it doesn't mean they are unable to fight, they have many techniques... Just none of them would be effective against a most...

The fact of the matter that the show deadliest warrior... Is based off of the weapons and has nothing to do with the actual person holding the weapon,
So the Celt lost because the people didn't want them to win... If it were possible to see a real fight between a Celt and Persian "immortal" i have high aspects that the Celt would win in a 1 on 1 fight, due to height and physical stature... So you can be happy the Celt would win in a real life scenario

I was so disappointed the Celts lost – Immortals were not really non-mortal, they just seemed so because there was so many of them.
