In this video Smokin' Joe Robinson plays a stunning 1968 Fender Telecaster Custom in a rare Candy Apple Red finish. Joe rips through the classic Turkish Rondo and some other fine Chicken Pickin' stuff!

  • Joe has problems with keeping time. Plus he always plays too damn fast!! It kinda bugs me. Go ahead and hate on me, but his issues with tempo bother me

  • @tingly7654321 : there are self taught players like this guy. ie James Burton, Albert lee, Vince gill, brad paisley and myself. Just because they play other people's material doesn't mean they are not self taught. Just because you play out of an easy play book doesn't mean you have to pick on people better than you...

  • @WoWintosh fair enough although i would say its quite tricky playing single melody lines in time without a metronome especially as fast as he does

  • @kornel967 ah no actually it was ur mom you know tha one i fucked

  • @ChrisM0007 hahah thats such a smart comment :D is that whats your mum told you to write ?

  • No problem with tempo that I can see... Do you use a metronome WoWin? Listen to some of his videos playing with others. They have no problem playing with him... Great tempo Joe!

  • @WoWintosh I see where you are coming from and can hear what you mean but because of the speed he is playing and the fact he is hitting every note albeit some of them not at full crack the guy is amazing. There's not many people that can keep the tune he does at the pace he does.

  • amazing... i guess he will be a rising star...

  • @kornel967 eat shit kornel 967 cause ur a troll

  • @wilsinhobatera

I don't have tabs...but I would recommend you spend time trying to work it out by ear (especially with being able to SEE where he's playing). What beginning guitar players don't seem to understand, is that when you work stuff out by ear, you are doing yourself a huge favor in the long run.
