  • I was having a similar issue. Mine would actually die at stops. Also RPM's would not go up during warm up. I cleaned my Idle air control valve and replaced all plugs. Did not fix problem. I also did not find any vacuum leaks. When I test the resistance on the IACV it checked out fine. But replaced it anyways because my symptoms pointed to it. I noticed compared to the new one it seemed to be seized in the closed position. After replacing problems went away.
