  • yes you can run synthetics. but you need to make sure they are wet clutch compatible. any 4wheeler shop or motorcycle shop should be able to fix you right up.

  • yessir the arctic cats have an internal wet clutch. it is composed of centrifugal clutch packs inside a drum that is directly connected to the crankshaft. it is one of the reasons arctic cat clutches dont burn up belts, and have an awesome and smooth engagement. it makes the arctic cat clutch trouble free. as long as you use the proper oil in the motor you'll likely never wear those internal clutches out

  • Thanks for doing this video. If you dont have an impact, how would you torque them?

  • yo I did a typeo I meant the primary clutch

  • thank you for the great info but i was wondering if you could show the tear down on the secondary clutch so i could see the roller and spring assembly

  • What's the difference between an Auto clutch & Manuel clutch ?

  • Good lord! I wouldnt be putting my hand in the clutch with the engine running seems very unsafe wouldnt recomend anyone to do that.

  • does that mean i cant run synthetic in the engine? i wouldnt want to destroy that wet clutch. or how about MOTORCYCLE synthetic? maybe even Arctic Cat synthetic? lol, im tryin here.

  • so if the engine is running, but the primary clutch isnt turning.... does that mean theres another clutch inside the engine thats attached to the same shaft that the primary clutch is on? awesome vid by the way, you make it look easy lol.

  • nice tip useing cover bolt to hold driven clutch sheeves open,it dident show that in a cd service manual i have, thanks for this video badass03taco
