Much more than is seen here, the dairy industry is perhaps the most cruel form of animal agribusiness. Aside from the fate of the babies (torn from mom to become veal or milk machines), adult dairy cows are turned into hamburger when their milk production declines (around 5 years, vs. the natural 20+ years that they would live to naturally). Drink Soymilk!!!

All the more reason that I am thankful I do not touch dairy - I would do anything to write this wrong that is inflicted on these babies - and others :(

All babies want and need to be with their mothers.. yet humans take this very natural right away from animals ..its so very heartwrenching to watch .and only proves what a totally uncompassionate species humans are !

Watching this film of a babe separated from its mother, a tiny calf who is looking for her everywhere brings an emotion to my heart that I cannot begin to explain other than to say that it is devastating.
It is haunting, the loss is palpable.
Everything made of milk is brought to human beings by this pitiful suffering.
Tears are not enough. The human race must do better, animals deserve our protection, care and respect.
