You need hardboots and alpine board.
I also tried to carve with softboots and freeride board, but then I bought an old, rusty oxygen raceboard from 1993 for 20€, skiing boots from the 80's and even with that equipment it was much better and easier than with softboots...

i never S down the mountain. straight down racing all out with my skiing friends and im the only one who snowboards, its so much more fun than that. cant wait for next season!
