My dad flew for World Airways out of Oakland Ca from 1967 - 1971. He flew into Saigon to pick up troops but you don't read about that too much. He loved the life
but was gone more than when he was in the USAF..

World Airways flew me over to, and back from Korea in 2000. The Flight Attendents on board were the best. I have yet to fly on a airline that can match them as of yet.

Wow, another World clip. How pleasant to see this. I was an FA with world mid 80's and still have a print ad with George! Great times and great people. Always remembered fondly.

World still is around,... it's a "Charter Airline (that means you gotta rent the entire plane for grpoup movement)
we went commercial for a short time there, but now we mainly move the troops to and from the war aand their other assignments, we have a few other contracts too like we move a bunch of oil people to Africa from Houston every week, and we recently did some stuff to China for the Special Olympics,...
