The Last Ghost Dance

Almost every culture has an apocalyptic myth. Some end with a bang, others with a whimper.

When (if) the world (civilization) does end, the survivors will have as many explanations for what happened as their ancestors had predictions.

This was an experimental video I did as a film undergrad, exploring most of my favorite thematic obsessions.

I like how they put the bison in the end. America was already beautiful before white people came. I love the large animals of the original America. The vast virgin forest, the endless beaches, and the large heard of bison on the American plains.
