Don't you love how using a Neti Pot looks like some kind of magician's illusion when it's 100% normal? :)
I actually use a similar product that has a slight pressure nozzle. It basically just doesn't require you to turn your head so much. When you've got a sinus headache, it's not a joke how much better it feels.

Neti Pot does work great. But you should use distilled or boiled water. Tap water can give you a nasty sinus infection. Found that out the hard way. A couple times (slow learner)

I do enjoy the neti pot when I have a head cold. True story: With the recent SSC videos showing the sneeze-inducing nose tickle technique, I decided to shove q-tips up my nose. It took a while, but it eventually worked. After the sneeze, I had to blow my nose a few times and lot came out. I made a mental note that it seemed to have the same results as the neti pot.
