The Su-34 is an advanced Russian 2-seat
fighter-bomber and strike aircraft. It is intended to eventually replace the Sukhoi Su-24.
By 2015 the Russian Air Force plans to have atleast 250-350 Su-34's.
There are currently around 43 in service. And more than 19-25 to be built in 2009 - Sergey Ivanov.
Mass scale production will begin in 2011 and continue until 2015-2016 building around 52~ per year

The fullback showed excellent performance in Georgia, only a few of these (2 I think) were able to destroy about a dozen of advanced SAMs. Though the amount of these in Russian service is classified, where did you get your numbers?

I recieve them from many websites and news agency. But you are right, the true number in service is classified. :)

Russian Su-34 must fully replace the older Su-24 Bombers. It was a right decision made by Russian Air Force Commander.

It will... Russia plans to launch mass production of the Su-34 in 2011
Right now its in low-level production at about 6-12 per year, but in 2011 they want to deliver atleast 23 per year until 2015
