well the 4870 x2 is disappointing but is amazing and with 3 of the gtx 280's on the original crysis which got more fps than this one they only got 30-40 fps wit these settings but with only 1680 res. so yah if u up the res to this on 2 of em theyd be fucked lol. what was ur average fps with 4870x2?

I have a 4870x2 and it is immensely powerful, but i have to admit it doesn't run crysis like it says on the benchies. (wars runs good with good visuals @ 1920x1200)warhead doesn't. Still ok though, plus runs everything else fine maxed as it can get with aa and af 1920x1200. Although i seriously doubt you can pull off 40-60fps all enthusiast with 16xaa with just 2 gtx280's.

I totally aggree the x2 is immensely powerful, the problem with benchmarks in the reviews is they are either tweaked faked or exagerated as usually they are being paid or given free hardware to test. Wars runs even better than warhead with the 280's also. The major issue that puts me off ati is that over 90% of the games released this year and still to be released are Nvidia the way its meant to be played, expect the same next year too. Ati need to release a driver to help warhead performance
