Fedora 7 - running with most default options + running beryl

dual boot my mac os x 10.4.9 with fedora 7 with all updates.

not exactly knowing all the technicalities...

but managed to install beryl with the cube effects.

pretty cool.

although afterusing the mac for a bit, fedora sure needs a lot of refinement.

mac just works.

my only gripe with the fedora 7 right now is its inability to recognise my airport extreme.

need heeelllpppp~!!!

on the other hand it is way better than ubuntu. ubuntu doesn't even recognise my mac os x partition during install. so for ppc, fedora just kicks ass.

ya gotta get a driver, maybe madwifi will work. dispite its name, it does wlan and lan too. I've never used it though cause I'm still workin' on a dual boot.

ndiswrapper uses the windows driver for a wireless card, so it won't be the same if you tried it on a mac
