@rachel10100100 I beg to differ. Its because parents put too much control over their children's lives that some children disobey. They are actually forced to blindly follow what their parents tell them to do and therein forms a "parents are always right" rule in the child's head, which is of course not wanted

Seriously, the Chua family is being reeeeaaaally lenient. If they behaved like that, my parents would probably send them straight home. After whipping them with a cane a billion times ._. and furthermore, to get into RJC is HUGE. They should be grateful for the opportunity instead of cutting class.
Besides, Singaporean kids do well in life for a reason. Its cos their parents try their hardest to teach them proper moral values and important life skills, like respect and responsibility.

Memphis is very solipsistic.

In England, Zane and Memphis would be required to have an enhanced CRB check before starting any voluntary work. This would be to see if they are thieves, paedophiles or drug users.

@KOgirl98 Well, I don't think he would even understand the parents, let alone obey them.
Aaron tan should be sent here

My parents have become lenient now that I'm 18. Hopefully I know what's best for myself, however, when I was young... How do I phrase this? THEY WILL BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF ME IF I GIVE THEM CRAP.
