  • Purist fags need to stop whining. The fact of the matter is that the Dropkick Murphys took a soft-sounding ballad and gave it some balls, making it better than it's ever been.

  • DKM fuckin runs the show wherever they go. Im so fuckin pissed i couldnt get tickets. sold out before i could :(

  • @EarthNuker

Nobody could ever out do Ronnie. DKM are an awesome band, but the rebel bands of the past will always finish first

  • love this song and the dropkick murphys version but the quality of the video doesnt bring it out :/

  • this cover made this song the best song of them all

along with the fields of athenry

  • This version is one for the purists. It's pure shite.

  • @quadropheniac57, in the UK and Ireland a yank refers to anyone from America and we'll prolly call a Canadian a yank before they correct us and say they're from Canada, then they'll prolly get ignored.

Also, are the Dropkick Murphys even Irish? Or are they "irish-american" which really isn't the same thing no matter how much some people want it to be?

  • The only thing that was upsetting about this show was despite our calls they didnt play Spicy.

  • Oka, the video and audio quality is horrible like it was taken with cell phone. So if your gonna try and judge something, at least find a clear, high quality video first. This just isn't a good representation of DKM. The Who are good, but just cuz a low quality vid of them is posted, people don't start to question weather they're really good or not. Know what I mean?

  • Actually Behan, McGowan, Kavanagh would have loved this. Who the hell are you? The last protector of Irish culture? You know nothing about folk music! It's a delicate thing!Weather Irish, Italian, Cajun, Québecois, Scottish, Welsh, Basque it's difficult enough without fools like you talking shite. Fool.
