In July of 08, a Noecat community of 75 young pilgrims traveled to Darwin, Australia to fulfill a mission of faith with the Aboriginals. Before flying to Sydney to meet with 500,000 other young pilgrims from around the world. Concluding with a vocational celebration with Kiko. Some pilgrims sacrificed largely in hopes to attend. In order to go some spent their school tuition money, some declined amazing work opportunities and some were kept on the waiting list until the last moment.

This is their true story. Which it shares hot topics that will open your mind, give faith to the faithless; and tell the rest of the world that the youths are doing something in their lives to help the worlds' spiritual crisis of today.

  • All this being said, I do think many of the people come to the movement with good intentions

It ought to be proselytized by the more traditional anglo-catholics ordinariates, or other more traditional sects or orthodox churches. These people have potential, they simply need better leadership into what is authentic and what is not. I will try reach out to the ones in my area and see how it goes. ;-)

  • Their experience with Melkite & Maronite eastern catholics in the Palestine has also been very problematic, not respecting their truly ancient early christian eastern traditions, instead imposing their own made up ones, as well as misuse of their iconography.

  • It has much in common with the hippy/counter culture and communes in ideaology, fused with conservative ideas socially, ultimately this brings many contradictions. Much like the "Jesus people" protestants It seems to be a movement at its core is controlled by the rapidly ageing 60s generation which has been full of the same problems we saw in that era, a few good ideas and works mixed with manipulation, tricks and worship of a certain figure, in this case Arguello. Trying to reinvent the church.

  • This is a another utopian "pure early church" revival sort of group which when compared to what we know of easly christianity contains numerous profound errors. I was told the neo-catechumenical way has a zero-tolerance absolute ban on any plainchant/gregorian chant used in any of it's liturgies. For me this is a sign of heresy, among many other profound eccentricities.

  • BTW the Italians you mentioned there were also some Maltese with them, infact the one in 7:21 is maltese and in 7:23 there is the maltese flag ;) ;)

  • Good video especially in 4:08. I am from the neo catechumenal way in Malta and I was also in Australia but in that year I was out from the vocational group because my catechists told me that it was better for me to do this experience. Now with "GOD'S WILL" I am in the vocational group again ;), courage my friends and peace
