go to ebay.ca or ebay.com and type 08 lancer taillights... i bought a newer set off of there after my old ones got smashed when i got rear ended and they fixed the resistor problem... dont have to put any resistors on there and they do not burn out, plus cruise control works again otherwise i suggest buying at least a load resistor rated at 4 ohms that can handle upwards of 50 watts so they dont overheat and melt like my last ones did

@darrandor u need a led resistor but they get really hot . i think u can get a relay for it to might be better
