  • The song is called 鳥のように (Tori no you ni) It means "Like a bird". It was composed by the late koto master Tadao Sawai (1938-1997). In it, Tadao used the koto to envision flying like a bird. He truly accomplished this. I cannot see this song performed without being overcome by its beauty and brought to tears. I hope to be able to play it some day.
