I'm a continental knitter and have always been told to spin right and ply left. With my next batch of spinning I'll definitely try doing it the opposite way, if it makes my yarns behave a bit better. =)

Good information! Now I know when my yarn really twists out of control while knitting, to try using the other method. I knit both English & Continental methods.
