Saint Barnabas High School

Saint Barnabas High School is a girls high school located in the Northeastern Bronx, adjoining the city of Yonkers. The school was founded in 1924, and has occupied its current building since 1959. At its inception SBHS was founded and staffed by the Sisters of Charity.
Barnabas students are encouraged on a daily basis to live their lives with charity, grace, and spirit. Students who attend our school find that they are able to build friendships while receiving the best education; become the athlete, actress, singer, dancer, designer..they always wanted to be through our extracurricular programs; and belong to a school that feels like a family with a caring faculty and staff. Most importantly, at Barnabas you know you can always be yourself.
