Kind of hard to believe either of these negative comments without evidence or proof. You're isolated incidents don't match up with my positive experience with Colonial Life. They've been a solid provider of direct cash benefit policies for decades and have an extremely high customer satisfaction rating each and every year. Not only have I been paid by my Colonial Life policies numerous times, but I've also assisted countless others in getting their policy benefits paid, as well.

Watch out if you are a health broker! There is a lady here who runs the Oregon area. She is running it into the ground by forcing us brokers to work with agents we don't like.
The broker community already has trust issues with Colonial, and this dictatorship style is causing much harm to her agents, which is why most are quitting. Turnover is high, just like AFLAC.
If you're looking for supplemental benefits, keep looking. It's not worth all the drama and headaches.

Dont trust this company. I just got screwed by them. Have been paying them for the past 5 yrs, have never made a claim, and now that I made a claim they're refusing to pay me what I'm owed! Go with AFLAC instead. Crooks!
