This murder of four innocent college kids (when I was a high school senior) caused a major fight with my dad, who never couldunderstand the truth about 'Nam. They killed JFK to get Vietnam and look how that turned out.

It was the protesters fault. Although the people who died wern't protesters that's a problem. But the people protesting were burning buildings and throwing shiz at the guards. So they had every right to shoot. Just not at the wrong people.

1)Neil Young was actually well known in his day,as a solo artist and as a member of Buffalo Springfield and later Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.
2)Fame is not synonymous with talent. Look at people like Paris Hilton: famous but not very talented.
3)Neil Young is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame... twice! And is called "one of rock and roll’s greatest songwriters and performers."
4)Neil Young actually wrote songs with important messages.
5)Neil Young's voice is not freakishly high.

I was there. I graduated high school in '70. Went with my neighbors sister who went to Kent St.
Got drafted in '72 last yr. of the draft. I was #4. Almost headed north but my bro talked me into the Navy.
