Here is my instrumental cover of the song "One Moment In Time" which was a hit single for Whitney Houston in 1988. It was written by Albert Hammond and John Bettis and was the theme of the 1988 Olympic Games which were staged in Seoul, South Korea.

To record this, I used my Fender Stratocaster (Bridge Pickup) and a Zoom G2.1Nu unit programmed with Charlie Hall's EFTP (Echoes From The Past [Patch B6]).

I recorded direct to my laptop via USB and used Cubase to record and mix the track. The backing was created by Roger Allcock.

Hope you enjoy this one

  • @Shad1964 Hi Ron!

Thank you for your very nice comments on this tune. I like it as an instrumental piece and it was one I had wanted to cover after hearing The Shadows version. Really glad you enjoyed listening to this one

    Kind Regards

  • A great song to do as a guitar instrumental and you have really done this one proud. A nice warmly tone from your guitar makes this track gel together very nicely indeed.

    Well done !!!

    Kind Regards

    Ron.
