This is the walk we used to take as kids every school holidays or on a weekend. Not much has changed over forty odd years except the walk is a little harder than it was! The music is the main theme from the film Fargo by Carter Burwell.
The Lickey Hills was, and still is, a popular destination for Birmingham people. We used to get there on the 62 bus along the Bristol Road to Rednal.

  • Great video, one of my favourite places in the country. Lots of good memories.

  • I really enjoyed this video! It's evocative in a slightly eerie way - maybe to do with the very slow panning images? Makes me think of Tolkien being inspired by the magic of these parts 100 years ago!
