Vanderbilt Class of 2012 Video Contest: Enter Today!

Hey Class of 2012:

We are just as excited as you are for your arrival on the Vanderbilt campus.

We want to know what you are thinking and planning in these final weeks before you head to Nashville. To find out, we're running a contest on YouTube.

To enter, make and submit a 3-5 minute video about heading to Vanderbilt. What's in that video is up to you -- last-minute visits to favorite hometown spots, packing the car, interviewing friends and family, your hopes and goals for your time at Vandy, even footage of move-in day itself -- it's all fair game.

All entries must be submitted by Friday, August 29. The winner will be announced at a special event at The Commons the second week of September with representatives from Google. The winner will receive a Flip Video Camcorder and the winning video will be featured on the Vanderbilt YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/vanderbilt.

To submit your video:

Step 1: Use your webcam or video cam to record your story. Do not include any copyrighted material such video or music).

Step 2: Post a video response to this video by clicking the video response button located at the top of the "Comments and Responses" section of this page.

Step 3: Email news@vanderbilt.edu your name and the name of your video. You must be a member of the Class of 2012 to enter.
